Detect Installed Software Dialog
From this dialog you can add a condition which detects the software version already installed on the target machine.
To be more precise, a search will be performed at the beginning of the installation and the condition will be true only if one of the bold font items in the list are installed on the target machine. The regular font items will not be taken in consideration.
If there are several versions of the software installed on the target machine, the version selected in this dialog will be compared with the highest version from the target machine.
Check if or greater is installed
Select the minimum software version which needs to be present on the target machine for the condition to betrue.
Check if with minimum is installed
Select the exact software version that needs to be present on the target machine for the condition to be true. When selecting the root software version, all update versions (e.g. SP levels) will be included in the condition, but you can also select a minimum Update Version from the sub-tree (as in the attached screen-shot).
